Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be given in writing to: experiences@splendourtailoredtours.com.au
Cancellation clause is as follows for all standard tours:

  • Within 72 hours of travel date – 100% cancellation fee
  • Inside seven (7) days but outside 72 hours of travel date- 50% cancellation fee
  • Outside seven (7) days of travel date no fee applies
  • All bookings are subject to external supplier’s cancellations policies. Particularly for itineraries containing private vessels or flight charters (yacht, boat, helicopter, jet, seaplane etc )

Holiday Period

The Holiday Period is deemed as Friday December 20, 2019 – Tuesday Jan 7, 2020.

Cancellation Policy within Holiday Period

Cancellation clause is as follows:

  • Within seven (7) days of travel date – 100% cancellation fee
  • Seven (7) to Fourteen (14 days) outside 72 hours of travel date- 50% cancellation fee
  • Outside fourteen (14) days of travel date – no fee applies
  • All bookings are subject to external suppliers cancellations policies. Particularly for itineraries containing private vessels or flight charters (yacht, boat, helicopter, jet, seaplane etc)

Holiday Surcharge Policy

  • A 75% surcharge on the total cost of tour applies to tours on public holidays including: Christmas Day (Dec 25th), Boxing Day (Dec 26th), New Year’s Day (Jan 1st), Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

Children Policy

  • Children of any age welcome
  • Vehicles will be fitted with appropriate sized child seats
  • Children 4 years old and under travel free
  • Children 5+ are charged at adult rates
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult

Tour Inclusions
Tour inclusions are subject to availability – bookings are best made well in advance. If an inclusion is not available, Splendour reserves the right to present suitable replacement options at the same price or similar. Notice will be given in advance should any changes to the set tour occur.

Modifying or Amending Your Booking
All requests for modifications and amendments to your booking must be directed to experiences@splendourtialoredtours.com.au where your request will be processed.

  • Splendour does not charge a fee to amend or change the dates of an existing booking, as long as the request is received more than three (3) days ahead of your confirmed travel date.
  • It is not possible to change or modify a special event, theatre or show ticket. Sales of these tickets are final and cannot be amended once your original purchase is confirmed.
  • All other date-change requests and amendments are subject to availability by our suppliers and/or service providers; Splendour cannot guarantee the success of any date-change request.
  • If you request a date change within three (3) days or less of your confirmed travel date, Splendour will attempt to honour your request; however changes made three days or less from your original travel date may be subject to an additional fees to be determined at time of modifications.
  • For multi-day and overnight tours, date changes made within seven (7) days of your confirmed travel date may also be subject to additional fees to be determined at time of modifications.

Group Numbers
Minimum and maximum group numbers are specified on each individual tour. Numbers must be confirmed 7 days in advance. If modifications are made, Splendour cannot guarantee requirements will be met but will make every possible endeavour to do so.

Payment Policy
Pre-payment is due 14 days before tour commences for all tours valued over $800 AUD.
For groups larger than 10 or tours to the value greater than $4,000 AUD, a 25% deposit is required at time of booking to hold the reservation.
For any tour/s including a private vessel or flight charter (yacht, boat, helicopter, jet etc) a 50% deposit is required at time of booking to hold the reservation.

General Conditions

  • All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars and are valid as per the respective rate periods.
  • The details of all tours and prices were correct at the time of release. Splendour reserves the right to vary or cancel tours or part thereof without notice due to circumstances beyond our control. Every effort will be made to deliver tours as described in marketing materials and to keep to arrival and departure times, however they are indicative only and no guarantee can be made and no compensation shall be payable in the event of loss due to missed connections.
  • The safety of all passengers is a high priority and Splendour guarantees compliance with all appropriate New South Wales state laws pertaining to conduct as a tour operator and observance of duty of care. In return, passengers are to show diligence and their own duty of care and follow directions of the tour guide at all times. Splendour does not accept any liability for the acts, omissions, default or negligence of Wildlife Park, scenic rides or any other service provided used in connection with these tours.
  • Splendour shall not be responsible or liable for death of or illness/injury to any person, or loss of or damage to any property or otherwise, however caused. It is recommended that all passengers take out their own personal travel insurance.
  • These tours operate in environmental and culturally sensitive areas. Any person found wilfully damaging the environment or indigenous art, or causing discomfort to others will be requested to leave the tour at the nearest public transport depot. Any costs incurred will be at that persons own expense.
